| From the main screen you can go to the map list or directly to the map that has been previously selected. |
Select the map which you want to see. You also can delete maps that are no longer needed in order to free some flash memory. |
This screen allows you to change various viewer options. |

| You can easily zoom in and out, |
scroll, |
or zoom in to a specific area. |

Looking Up an Address |

| To look up an address or street name simply start typing it. |
Type just enough to see the match you need, then press <Enter> or click on the roller. |
The place is designated with an x and the map is moved so that it is in the screen center. |

| To look up a street intersection just start typing the name of the first street.
|
When the match for the first street is found, press ‘+’ sign and repeat the process for the second street.
|
When you “matched” successfully two streets, just press <Enter> or click the roller.

| It should take no more than a second …

… and the intersection you were looking for is shown on the map.
|
If the streets that you entered do not cross …
|
 | … “Intersection NOT Found” will appear on your screen.

Points of Interest (POI) |

| If POI have been loaded, "Points of Interest Types" menu item will be show. |
The POI types can be make visible/unvisible by your choice. |
"Points of Interest List" item is added to the map menu. |

| "Points of Interest List" screen shows the list of visible POI. |

...and go to the POI of your choice... |

Waypoints |

| Mark the screen center, lookup result, your location (if GPS receiver is connected) or waypoint that other application sent. |
Jump from the waypoint list that is saved for each map to any waypoint . |
You can choose a symbol for a new waypoint from about sixty icons. |
 | Waypoints have the attributes. You can enter short caption, comments, and select an icon. They will be show in the waypoint list. Location and timestamp are also remembered. |

Target Tracking |
1map can receive and
process messages from other RIM applications. When it receives a message with the location of a target it will display the target on the screen.
(Of course maybe it's not a target, but your friend's location) |

Working with GPS |

| Connect GPS receiver to the pager and select "GPS On" from the menu. |
Immediately after GPS establishes your position and direction of travel you'll see a triangle mark on the map. |
You're two blocks away from destination. |
